@ 735 Abraham is told that the nation of Lot is about to be punished because of their acts of sodomy 11:74-76


11:74 And when the wonderment departed from Abraham and the glad tidings reached him, he pleaded with Us for the nation of Lot;
# فَلَمَّا ذَهَبَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّوْعُ وَجَاءَتْهُ البُشْرَى يُجَادِلُنَا فِي قَوْمِ لُوطٍ 74
11:75 indeed, Abraham was forbearing, tenderhearted and penitent.
# إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّاهٌ مُّنِيبٌ 75
11:76 (It was said,) 'Abraham, turn away from this; your Lord's command has indeed come, and there is coming upon them a punishment that will not be turned back.'
# يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَذَا إِنَّهُ قَدْ جَاءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ وَإِنَّهُمْ آتِيهِمْ عَذَابٌ غَيْرُ مَرْدُودٍ 76
